Rules and Regulation


All the rules and regulations that are in force from time to time are binding upon all the pupils and parents. Ignorance of the existing rules and regulations will not be an excuse for the lack of compliance. The School expects every student to maintain a high standard of discipline inside as well as outside the class room. Special care must be taken by teachers and students to preserve an atmosphere of silence and serious work during class hours, and must keep in mind the following points

  • Students shall reach the School at least five minutes before the first bell.
  • The students should be in proper School uniform.
  • The students must respectfully greet all the staff members wheneverthey meet them inside or outside the School.
  • When spoken to by teachers or elders the students are expected to stand to attention and not lounge with their hands in their pockets.
  • While going to the morning assembly, P.T. classes or when changing class rooms, the students should go silently in single line without disturbing the neighbouring classes and keep to the left of the corridors.
  • Students should not leave the class rooms during any period without permission. They are prohibited from going out of the School premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
  • The students are not allowed to bring cell phones and similar electronic equipment to the school.
  • The Students are not allowed to bring motorized vehicles/two wheelers to the School/campus and near by school premises on working days as they are not legally eligible to hold a valid driving license. The students should not carry the key of any kind of vehicle. If found guilty a Rs. 500 (Five Hundred Rupees) will be charged as penalty.
  • Students should bring to the class all necessary text books and note books according to the time table. Other books or magazines should not be brought to the class.
  • Students should be regular in submitting their home assignments and disciplinary action will be meted out for failure to do so.
  • Irregular attendance, truancy, insubordination to teachers, habitual neglect of studies, indifference to School work and obscenity in word or action are sufficient reasons for suspension of a pupil or for other punishment.
  • Any kind of damage done to School property must be paid by the parent/guardian of the child. The decision of the principal regarding the amount to be paid is final.
  • Students are expected to keep the school premises clean and should not destroy any plants or flowers or litter up the place. Dust-bins are provided for use.
  • Exchange of articles or money transactions between students are not allowed.
  • No collection for any purpose whatsoever is to be carried out by the students without the permission of the principal.
  • Running, playing or shouting inside the School building is not allowed.
  • Presents/gifts to teachers or other remuneration in their honour are not allowed in the School without proper permission.
  • The School can not make itself responsible for the loss of books, money, ornaments, clothes and other articles. Students must look after their belongings. It is not advisable for students to have money / ATM Card / Debit Card or valuable articles with them in the School.
  • Strict regularity, implicit obedience, politeness and courtesy in speech and conduct and cleanliness of dress and person are rigidly insisted up on.
  • Every student must bring the school handbook to the class daily. Any information or request conveyed to the parents/ Guardians through the Handbook by the Principal — teacher should be complied with and acknowledged.
  • Students must speak in English in the school premises during the working hours.
  • Smoking or use of any seductive article by a student is strictly prohibited in the School and in the School premises. Those found violating this rule will be dismissed with immediate effect.
  • Bringing of arms and weapons like knives, chains, and fire arms to School and ganging up with the students of other Schools justify immediate dismissal.
  • The students are not allowed to tattoo the visible parts of their body. At the time of admission the candidates will be checked for the same. The candidate may be denied admission if they are found bearing tattoos. A student can be dismissed from the school for violation of this rule.
  • The students are not allowed to wear sports caps in the School. If someone wants to wear it due to the death of one's relative he has to get written permission from the principal before doing so.
  • Boys are not allowed to wear ear rings, rings and bangles. Girls are prohibited to wear bangles and rings.
  • Students are answerable to the School authorities for their conduct both ins'cle and outside the School. Hence misbehavior in pulplic places and conveyances justifies dismissal.
  • All instructions issued from time to time should be carefully followed and obeyed by the students.
  • Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones / iPods / camera /motor bikes/ scooties or any other devise / harmful appliance to the school. If it is found and brought to school campus it will not be given back to students or parents because it is harmful to the children
  • Late corners (students) should give the fine of Rs. 2/- to PT Incharge as penalty to their indiscipline.
  • Students must speak English in the school premises.
  • Students should strictly follow the rule of language. Only the medium of .the school should be practiced in the school campus. The rule breakers should give the fine of Rs. 2/- as a penalty to it.
  • All the fine money of penalty will be utilized for the welfare of the meritorious students of our school.
  • Parents should provide dress/rent of the dress/concerned materials and other expenses etc. other than school fees for any function of the school. School will not take any responsibility of it. But it is totally of the parents responsibility.
  • A student who passes from U KG has to take fresh admission to join class I and a student who passes from 10th ICSE / any other board examination has to take fresh admission to join class XI.

Library Rules


  • Library cards are issued to the students for the purpose of borrowing the books.
  • A student may borrow a maximum of one book at a time. A book is issued for a period of two weeks which can be re-issued once again if no one else requires it.
  • Reference books, reserved books, new arrivals and periodicals should not be taken out of the library.
  • All the books should be returned before the commencement of the vacations. Personal books and belongings are not supposed to be brought in to the library. So also personal files, note books etc. should not be left in the Library.
  • A library book lost or damaged shall be replaced with a new one or paid for by the borrower. A fine of Rs.01/- for the first week and Rs.05/-each for the subsequent weeks will be charged from those who fail to return the library books in time.
  • A fine of Rs.05/- will be charged for a duplicate card.
  • Strict silence shall be maintained in the library. The library will remain closed on holidays.

Leave Rules


  • Application for leave of absence from the School shall be submitted before hand. If this may not be possible due to unforeseen circumstances, leave should be applied for, not later than the following day.
  • Applications for leave shall be submitted to the principal.
  • Applications for sick leave involving more than four days should be supported by a medical certificate.
  • Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are not allowed to attend the *School. When they report back to School a certificate of medical fitness is to be produced.
  • If pupil is absent without permission for six days consecutively at the beginning of the academic year or 15 days consecutively during the course of the academic year his/her name shall be struck off the rolls.
  • Physical training and games are compulsory. If a child is physically unfit for systematic P.T. and games, doctor's certificate should be submitted.
